Travel requirements. Are you sick of searching a million websites to find out the rules for where you want to travel?
I was too! So I tried a few different tools over the past two years to find the quickest and most reliable information in one place.
As a travel advisor of thirteen years, this is the one I use and trust for my clients.
Sherpa – lets you find the latest travel requirements for your trip.

The Sherpa site is user friendly, and I’m going to show you how to navigate it with ease.
First up, you enter your departure and destination points, add any connections, your vaccination status, and which passport you’ll be travelling on. Then press ‘see restrictions’.
Next up, you’ll see two tabs, ‘departure’ and ‘return’. Make sure you check both and follow the advice under each section. Sections will look like: Restrictions, Covid 19 testing, Visa requirements, Forms and documents, Upcoming information, and Additional information.
Below is an example of what it should look like (with the departure and return tabs circled).

As you can see above, the travel restrictions are easy to read and you can hover over the ‘see details’ sections if you need more clarification.
Under the forms and documents section, you’ll also find prompts to complete any online requirements. There are also prompts to download any contact tracing apps you’ll need in the country and additional resources like pdfs.
One section I take a pinch of salt with is the visa requirements. I read the information so I know if a visa is required. But then go directly to the government site to apply as it is the quickest and cheapest way to do that. If you apply for a visa through this site, they will charge you a service fee. That is totally fine if it is a trickier visa (I always enlist a visa service in those cases and highly recommend paying for expert help). But, if it is a standard and easy to complete online application like an ESTA for America – do it directly yourself.
How do you feel about the travel requirements process now?
I hope this article has helped to ease the pressure and simplify the process for you. If you still have questions, ask away! I’m here to help you navigate the world with ease.
